Samantha Scott is a 2D animator who is currently working on her BFA in animation at SCAD. She is on track to graduate in the spring of 2024. Her passion is designing and then animating fantasy characters. She loves working in a fantasy setting where anything can happen, not bound by the limitations of reality. She is heavily inspired by fantasy cartoons and films. Fantasy settings have had a special place in her heart since she was young, dressing up as a princess and pretending she was in their world. As she grew up, the love of fantasy never faded, always filling her with a sense of childlike wonder and joy. These fantasy worlds helped provide her a place to escape to when she became too stressed and overwhelmed. Through her work, She hopes to provide the same feelings of joy and escapism that animation has given her.
